Megan Young is the Founding Director of Flourish Education Services, an organisation dedicated to providing inclusive, strength-based support for children and young people with diverse learning needs. Since beginning her teaching career in 2004, Megan has worked across a range of educational settings and has successfully operated her own education-focused small business since 2013.
She holds a Master’s in Learning and Development, a Bachelor of Education and a Diploma of Children’s Services. Megan established Flourish with a clear mission: to better support children of all ages and abilities through neurodiversity-affirming practices and a strong commitment to human rights, ensuring every young person has the opportunity to thrive, participate fully, and build on their strengths.
Driven by a deep passion for social justice and inclusion, Megan delivers innovative community participation and capacity-building programs that honour the individuality and dignity of each learner. As an educational consultant, she thrives on designing personalised learning and development pathways, particularly for those who have disengaged from education or have found traditional learning environments inaccessible due to Trauma, Anxiety, Autism, or Dyslexia.
Megan is a strong advocate for educational equity and is recognised for her ability to create safe, empowering spaces where all students feel seen, valued, supported and connected.
